CANopen Control Option

CANopen is a communication fieldbus standardized by the CAN in Automation Group (CiA). Applied Motion Products drives are compliant to CiA DS301 and DSP402, and use the CAN 2.0b Passive physical layer. CANopen drives support the following DSP402 Operating Modes:

• Profile Position Mode
• Profile Velocity Mode
• Homing Mode
• Q Program Mode

I/O (ST5-C, ST10-C):

• Two +/-10 volt, 12 bit analog inputs
• Two 5 volt high speed digital inputs
• Six 12 to 24 volt digital inputs

• Four 30V 100 mA digital outputs

I/O (STM17-C, STM23-C, STM24-C):

• One 0-5 volt, 12 bit analog input
• Two 5-24 volt high speed digital inputs
• One 5-24 volt digital input

• One 30V 80 mA digital output
